I think that's not more than a plastic model, out of the reality

there are pic's on here somewhere of a challenger with that top put on it. it actually didnt look that bad. im trying to remember, but think it was plum crazy. :shruggy:

Yea, it's got the General Mills symbol so maybe it was a cereal box item. :shruggy: They put some pretty cool stuff in cereal boxes back then.

Yeah the purple Challenger/ Vista Cruiser/ Gremlin hybrid car is completely awesome! It is or was(?) sunroofsuperbird's car. I hope that car never gets restored. It's just too awesome as it sits!

     sunroof superbird,  thread had pics of challenger wagon and some of his cars.  think some pics allso on wing cars in a convertable state..
       any one still in contact with him? did he finish superbird and hope his health thing got better. has not postted for long time,it looks?

The photo is part of the box from the original 73 annual 1/25th plastic model kit, I believe maybe by MPC. If I remember right, the symbols on the side were part of a give away (collect so many, etc.).

I have never heard that it was based on reality, or that someone copied the kit. The 1/25th kits back in the day had some pretty wild customizing options compared to now.
