I know I've seen the answer to this question on this site but everytime I do a search I seem to be using the wrong key words to get me where I want to go.
A buddy is converting a 68 Charger from manual drum to power drum and now his brake pedal stays too close to the floor.  Is there not something in the linkage that needs to be changed as well?  It isn't as simple as just swapping in the power booster, what was the rest of the deal?

Cool thanks.  There is no other adjusment he needs to check either correct?  It should be simply a matter of having all of the correct parts and bolting them up?

just a matter of  fitting the correct master cylinder / firewall reinforcement plate or modify the manual drum brake one  ,  & bolting it up ,   might be able to un-wind the excisting  brake lines to  make up the  distance , the  further forward the master cylinder now is ,  need the correct vacume tree fitting for the intake  , & adjust the pushrod in the booster if nessary , prolly be ok though , but check .
gauge cluster  needs to come out really too , can reach the bottom nuts , but i cant reach the top ! with out the gauges coming out !
