I was just wondering where the BFG ad/poster Charger 500 is now...its purple in the ad, not sure what the original color is. Looks like white stripe, hemi car, rocker moldings, headrests, passenger side mirror....anybody know??

My poster is framed, so it was kinda hard to get a real good picture of it with out glare or reflections....

Hello, I know this post is almost four years old but I found it doing a search for this poster. I also have an answer to the question because that is my dads car in the poster. The car is in the Detroit area and is forest green with white strip and green interior and is a hemi automatic car.

Cool, thanks for the info.

I too have had that poster hanging in a frame for a few years now...

No, bfg wanted and supplied those wheels. It normally has magnum 500s on it

I have that poster too, I thought I was the only one.

Thank you I'm glad I found this site! It might take me a while but I will post pictures of the 500 and possibly some of the others in the fleet.

Did any of the other BFG poster cars come from your fleet?

No unfortunately none of the other poster cars are in our fleet. Here is a picture of the cars that really matter, we have others but none that anyone on here would care about. Lol

Is there still purple on the 500 in the trunk jams? Not sure I have all the info on that 500 in my database.

Lol, no purple left it all got washed off. I'll have to find the pictures of it in the studio cause you can see how they only painted half the car purple and it was some water based stuff that peeled and washed off.

Thanks for replying to my old post, glad to finally find out about the car. Nice collection you have there.  :2thumbs: So they actually painted the car purple?! I figured the just used lighting or photo editing...I think I would have been a little nervous about that...

That is too cool!  I also figured the photo was edited to the desired color... or someone had actually painted the car purple during a restoration.  I do not have this poster in my collection but would like to buy one, if someone has an extra.  I have the large lime green Cuda banner, and the pink Challenger TA poster... but not this one.  As a side not... the green Cuda that was used for the photo shoot was recently featured in a Mopar magazine.  I'm almost certain that it was in Mopar Collector's Guide.

I'm in the "Detroit area" and it looks like we may have matching 1970 Dodge Chargers. Mine is FE5 red, looks like yours is also, would love to hear more about all the cars.
