Holy smokes it's been a long time!

Hi Everyone,

I thought stop by and say hello and see how everyone is doing!  I haven't been around much as there have been a lot of changes in Shakey's world.  All is well, family is happy and healthy and my two daughters are growing up way too fast.  Left the company I was with for 10 years to start my own and that has consumed a lot of time.

I guess one of the reasons I haven't been here is that I have not been working on my car (I know, I know) and feel that I don't have much to contribute as far as progress updates.  Perhaps I should have stopped by and requested some motivational prompts but just had too much on the go.

Also, sorry to the folks that have sent me PM's - I just noticed them when I logged on and am not sure why they were not forwarded to my e-mail.

Anyways, all the best folks, hope everyone is doing well!

Shakey

I would have thought being around Dodge Don's car would be motivation enough!

Great to know all is well with you and the family.

Thanks fellas!

Yes, I too thought that hanging out with Don this summer, enjoying his car with him, would have got me off my a$$ but just too much on the go!  Starting to travel a lot more again, didn't travel too much in 2011.  I think once I get into a groove with my company I will be able to find some time to make progress.

Shakey

The business is based from home which I think is good and bad.  I see my family in the mornings now, first time ever as I was always gone before they were up but with that comes more responsibility like getting the young ones (7 & 5) motivated, dressed and then off to school.  Not complaining but it certainly took some time getting used to.  We've found the groove there and business is starting to pick up.

I was away in November - here is a shot from my hotel room so you can guess where that was Chuck.  :scratchchin:

Hey Mike!  I noticed you were not on here anymore since about the time we met in Vegas last spring, I was begining it to think it was me...

The good news about you not working on your car is that it's given me some time to get caught up some. :nana:

Shakey

Hi again fellas -

I gotta find some time to read through some threads and do some catching up.  Perhaps I'll a find an easier way to hear about what everyone's been up to for the past 12 months.   :scratchchin:

Dodge Don

I can vouch that he has been busy. Trust me, I've needled him a tad on getting back on his 69 resto but family and new career come first naturally.

We had a few good times this summer with my car....trying to keep his mojo alive  :coolgleamA:

We usually see eachother every Friday night since his daughters have skating lessons at same time as my youngest boy. Flash forward 10 years and he'll be warning me to keep my boys away from his daughters  :D
