Hi,

I have started to check the electrical issues with my recently bought 68 R/T. First thing is to get the temp gauge and oil pressure gauge to work.

If I disconnect the wires to the temp sensor and oil sender unit, would you say the sender units are ok if I measure about 10-100 ohms betwen the sender and ground (I know the values will be different based on temp/pressure, I'm only looking for a good/no good value)? And the gauge is probably ok if I ground the wire and the gauge reacts?

Thanks!

all mopar gauges works on 10+/-2 to 70+/-5 ohms senders rate to max and minimun readings.

sometimes a little more variation is also acceptable

Ok, thank you for the info. I measured them and they are not even close. I will install new sensors, should be good then.
