I remember the auction as well TT! I spent hours just looking at the pictures from that auction. . . the amount of stuff (including rare parts) was overwhelming. There were a few 2nd gen Chargers. One I remember aside from the '68 with the dogs on it is a blue with white top '69 next to a big Arby's sign.

I think they were asking $2,000,000 or something like that for the property and all the cars/ parts on it.

Those are trained awesomeness-sniffing canines that were released into this field to do what they do best. What other car did you expect they'd all land on?  :coolgleamA:

I know the guy. His name is Bruce Cliche , his yard is in N.Montpelier ,VT. He has a LOT of musclecars some are only good for parts others can still be saved. Lots and lots of parts and I mean you have to see it to believe it. He told me once about ten years ago he'd sell everything along with the land and walk away for a dollar a part but he has a millon parts. Last summer it was up to 2 dollars a part. I think he has a couple of youtube videos of the place, I'll look and post a link when I find then. By the way I remember when his dogs were pups.
MOPAR OR NO CAR !!

I tried to buy some parts off that '68 a long time ago and he didn't want to part it out. He wanted like $2500. for it , no thanks it was and still is very rough. The blue charger with the white top is a '70 R/T 440 .

I remember the Ebay ad for the yard and shop.  One of those deals where he could cash out if it was priced right and still live pretty well.    I don't know the man, but it strikes me that he will probably die with the stuff.

XS29L

I'd say your right on the money with that one.
MOPAR OR NO CAR !!

Video on youtube  One Mans Junk Is Another Mans Treasure   the video is of a small portion of the engine parts Bruce has .  His phone # is listed under the video if your ever in Vermont look him up.  He's a GM guy but has a lot of Mopar stuff. If I remember right 2 '68 chargers ; dog car is a 318 auto the other is a 383 3spd.manual , the blue '70 R/T 440 and a 70 383 4 spd (solid car). I seem to remember a '71 318 auto also.

I thought that the dogs were a representation of the Daimler board meeting when they decided they were done raping Chrysler and they picked the name for the new Intrepid.

There's one here in Marion. It's about 30' up on top of a pole. No price tag on it, must be free for the hauling... :2thumbs:
