What a coincidence, I was watching some video's on youtube when I saw this one...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChBmCHDz7es&feature=related
Looks like the same car to me.

DC_1

I would say it is defiantly the same car. Other than the obvious colour, interior and scoop simularities, the one in the video has the wipers missing and appears to have tinted windows, as is seen by the vent windows. I see the same in the pic posted. Not to mention the location looks the same.

I wouldn't mind seeing the VIN # on that car. New owner may have removed the wing and fender scoops and added R/T badges, a new vynil top then repainted the rear hood etc. It's a far reach but mine had a white interior. Winder if the hood is glass? Mine was steel with the glass scoop embeded .  :shruggy:

Now I am really interested in seeing the vin for this car... I spoke to the last known seller (Motoexotica) and learned that the car was sold to another dealer in Iowa. That dealer removed the wing and fender scoops and re-painted the car again. Not sure if they put a new vinyl top on it but the one in the video looks very new. XP29H8B230624

A couple other mods I did were on the scoop (Screen on the intake openings)and tail lights. (Blue Dot centers) Wouldn't mind seeing other parts of this car or the VIN.

:coolgleamA: you have had a lead ! well info on the car , you   know its not looking like when you had it wing & fender scoops ,  makes it  harder now to spot in forsale ads & word of mouth stuff now  :brickwall:

Short of actually seeing the VIN, It's still just a shot in the dark and that gut feeling it's one in the same car. There are a couple other things I see on the car here that makes me think this is it. A couple flaws that were in mine are on this one. Passenger side headlight door just a little off and the driver front fender to hood alignment above the grill line... The suspension stance looks identical too. Looks like they added R/T badges to it too.

I don't get it. I have built/had other cars but for what ever reason the Charger was the only one that I really wanted back again. Sounds sick don't it?

I noticed a couple unusual things about this mystery Charger.
It has no driver or passenger side mirrors, also has no windshield wipers and has tinted vent windows.
A couple differences from your Charger, this Charger has a vinyl top and doesn't have front bumperettes.

I saw that one... That one was a picture taken when Mike put the car up on E-Bay (Mike bought it from me) He finished the interior and did some additional work on the motor. He hit hard times and ended up selling it at auction to Motoexotica in St. Louis.

It looks like the new owner was going with a different look (OEM + Euro) The Top looks like it was added. Very hard to say if it's the same car without the VIN #. Even the tail lights are completely different. (Look painted and not chrome. No Blue dot centers either.

Chargers just don't look good with hood scoops.

Homerr

A lot of work to make an R/T 'clone' with a 383.  It's not to my tastes in any way, so I won't pick it apart.  Price, with reserve not met, of $48k is laughable.

twodko

$48k.........naw.

If I have lots 'o discretionary simolians I'd run that hood in my car to a card hiw tree and there. O' course I'd keep my original hood.
This scoop isn't gaudy or over the top IMO.........it would be fun to run "badass" once in a while.
FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

The dashboard & heater controls suck,, the engine compartment is a rat's nest of wires, and who puts traction bars on a Mopar? And that's what you can see; imagine what you'll find in person. That car is just a friggin mess.
