I just watched CNN during my lunch break and it's really hard to really comprehend many things in life especially this one. Truck trailer slammed into a car that in turn struck the school bus. The car caught on fire instantly and all seven kids inside were killed. All kids were from the same family - all kids in that particular family were killed, now family is destroyed. The grandfather was so distraught upon the news of his grand kids that his poor heart gave up - also died. The truck driver was taken to the hospital and released after minor injuries were treated. They drew blood out of the driver and it sounds like charges will be handed down.

I just can't imagine that happening to someone. I mean one children killed is a tragedy. Seven is something that you can't find a word for it.  :cryin:

Yes I read that to. Terrible tragedy with alot of unanswered questions. What was going on in the truck drivers mind, fatigue, cell phone etc. Also why was there an unlicensed driver behind the wheel of the car without any other adults and why was there that many people(7) in the car to begin with?

holy crap, that almost brought tears to my eyes.  I just could not fathom such a terrible loss, it would be devastating... simply devastating. Praying now.

the age of the girl driving had nothing to do with the accident-she was sitting still behind  a freaking school bus,the truck driver nailed her-terrible tragedy for the family, who you can tell didnt have alot to begin with, and now they are dealt this?

God is real. Oh,  I think things like this can be used to make us think about God.

Not to draw attention from those folks in Florida, but I have a friend from  who lost his wife and three kids on a head on colllision with a semi that crossed the lanes.  This guy didn't blame God, but leaned on God more.

It's difficult to explain why things happen, but God is real.

Just my two cents...

:iagree:    I've always thought if I had the choice to live either here......or in heaven!!?  Well....it goes without sayin' what I'd choose.

Yes it is a horrible way to die.... but..... if that is what "I"would have to give to pay the price to get into heaven....so be it!

Our ways are not his ways....not a one of us know anything about them and why would it have to be that way to get to heaven for them.....bottom line.....God knows and thats all that matters.   And they're home never to suffer again for eternity!

that's my  :Twocents:

I'll never figure out why my buddy, the best rider of the bunch who we put out front to lead, went over a peak.  Which resulted in my paralysis when I crashed right next to him.  Why did I get banged up so bad on a ATV that was built ('01 Banshee) to handle the fall.  His ATV was a Polaris Huntin' Rig.   It happened for a reason.
