I wanted a better bumper and a swing out tire carrier for my Jeep but with prices of nice ones running $800-$1200 i decided to see if i could build my own started with a pile of 1/4" and 3/16" metal and built this

Nice work!

Friend of mine built a bumper, he made sure was welded air tight and added a air valve to it, fillis it up with compressed air in case he gets a flat or needs to add air on the fly.

Thanks,with what i have to work with it would take to long to make them to resell, I thought about powdercoating it but just sprayed it with black epoxy primer and put some bed coating over that I have a few other things i may do to it later and didnt want to have to repowder coat.
