They had a glass rear window, right?

How does that fold away when the top goes down? :shruggy:

Does it lay flat in the well and the fabric lays down around it? :shruggy:

Step by step pictures of this in action?

My Coronet has a glass window.  The windows just folds between the top with the structure.   Sorry the car is in storage so I can't give you any pictures.
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

That's pretty much it. As the top folds into the well behind the back seat, the glass, and the fabric around it, just fold into the well.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

yes, glass rear windows....now, on a side note..I'm not sure how far down in the well the glass goes, but I have a 73 Pontiac Grandville convert with glass rear window....it was my Dad's car, he liked to golf...strange game, chasing little white ball all over....anyway, he used to put his golf bag up under the well at times, and as he put the top down, the glass went into the well and broke because of the bag that was there..he did this twice before he learned..

Just sayin'

By the way, don't ever leave the glass back window unzipped while you put the top down. When it's not zipped in, the top edge of the glass rests on the metal behind the rear seat while the lower edge is attached to the base of the roof forming a bridge across the well. As the roof folds up & comes down into the well on top of it, the glass explodes as loud as a gun shot into a million little square cubes.  :o

Go ahead, ask me how I know.   :smilielol:

Hope you're talking about the rear window & not your fly Stuart.

My Satellite was my daily driver for years & the top was down most of the time unless it was raining. Well, sometimes I'd get soaked, but that was by accident. The rear window being open was nice if it was 105 degrees & humid out while on the highway. Getting baked on the vinyl seats while stuck in traffic was never fun, so to have the top up with all the windows open wasn't bad.
