Even though I've got magnums, the steelies with dog dish sure look badass on the right car.

14 wheels and small tires don't do anything for me. You at least need to get 15 inch steel wheels and bigger tires for a comparison and then it is a toss up. It wouls be nice if you could keep both sets but on your car I'd lean toward the magnums.

I would definitely get 15x7 steelies at a minimum with 15x8's as an option.. I had 15x7 steelies on Dana. That was a good day... Jacob had a blast... Man, he's grown since '04...

yep 15 inch is verry nice on a charger but the only steel wheel avalaible on a 69 rt 440 charger is 14x5.5

Definitely steel wheel with the dog dish caps and WIDE tires.  To me, steel wheels with dog dishes just say MOPAR.  The magnums look just like another GM and Ford wheel.

I like both, but went with steelies because I had them, and for my car's color (F3) you usually see Magnums on them. I chose Diamondback Radial Redlines for the stock look, but a radial tire ride and I could get a fatter 60's series tire. I like the way it turned out.

I agree that you need a minimum of a 15x7 to fill that big ole wheelwell or it looks like it's on rollerskates.

I agree - I definitely prefer the look of a nice aftermarket wheel.  But if I HAD to choose between magnums and steelies with dog dish caps, i would pick the steelies.

bull

Can't vote until there's a "both" selection. :shruggy: Sorry.

Actually, if I had to choose between 14" steelies and 15" Magnums (as the poll is set up) I would choose Magnums because 14s look stupid. If both options are 15" though, it's a wash.

Hey Chris,

Do you have more of a side view with those wheels?
They look like Radir's?
What size tires did you use for the front?
