Does any one know how the factory attached the rear front fender splash shields to the fender and to the body??  And can the rear shields be installed after the front fenders are on ???

also looking for the same info for the front shields that fasten to the front part of the fender.   :2thumbs:

thanks   Peter

On my 69 the front rears are bolted to the firewall and have a rubber that clips onto them and they only have one bolt that attaches to the back of the fender opening, the front fronts are bolted to the valance and the lower fender. I just bought a AMD set and they are very nice!
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Does anyone have a picture with the inner metal splash shield with the rubber seal?  Looking for a pic of the driver side.  I know there is a rubber piece on top and then a piece that connect to the edge.  Not sure where the shield clips into..front or back.

Can someone please take a pic and post?  I think the inner metal splash shield fits a 68-70 B Body?

Thank you!

Hey Rocpar, Yes the shields are the same for 68 to 70 B Bodies.  Sorry don't have any pics, But if you go to Google, under Images and type in 68 (or what ever year you have) Charger inner fender splash shields, lots of pics will come up.
Hope that helps... :2thumbs:

Bill,

Thank you!  Another question:  the rear splash shield shows that you use the plastic push tabs.  Some of the suppliers have metal clips.  Which is correct?
