I found the year of the Smokey TV series (1994) and this website to check out on other Movies.   http://www.automopedia.org/2009/03/05/car-movies-hollywood-has-remade-but-shouldnt-have/

I agree that the latest Duke Movie had some really good stunt driving and if you haven't seen the bonus features on the DVD, check them out.  they show how they launched the cars onto the freeway and the drifting!  Pretty cool stuff.

I happened to see The Green Hornet again last night and noticed during the first time he's sitting in his fathers car listening to the record player and drinking, they pan outside the car in the garage and next to him is a 69' Red charger! :yesnod:  only for a few seconds, but wish they showed that car a little more!

I think they should remake all the drivers ed movies the had in 1976. Chargers everywhere in them!!!   :D
68 Charger
70 Super Bee
11 SRT8 Challenger
30 Chevy Universal

I am going to step a foot out of line and say that I prefer most of the remakes to the originals. They have a better acting and better story lines IMO and make for better overall movies. The originals do have better and more raw footage of the classic cars and chases so they win out here. DMCL and Vanishing point have horrible acting and very basic story lines. I still enjoyed these movies but if it was not for iconic cars in them they would have been forgoten about years ago.  :Twocents:

 :iagree:
Same as "Finish Line' but the cars are a sight for sore eyes.

I think all those attempts to re-ignite Knight Rider were flops. (including both 'team knight rider' and the recent remake).

Gone in 60 seconds. the remake was a better movie, but a worse 'car movie'. if you combined them, you'd end up with a fantastic movie

There's a few that need to be remade, but i can't think of them off the top of my head.

If F&F was meant to go on and on you could make it a syndicated series on tv.

If you think F&F was original, think again

1955! (actually, plot is different, only shares the same title).

You can say that again, they were terrible. Kid's shows providing kids watch that kind of stuff these days.

I will admit that I found that Knight Rider TV movie thing quite enjoyable.

I also agree with you on the Gone in 60 Seconds being a good remake. Well I have not seen the original but i heard it was better.

better acting and story, not better is the car chases. what do you want from a movie?

Grand Theft Auto would probably be based more on that horrible video game.
GTA is a GREAT game. best open world driving game around.

well the fast and furiuos is a remake believe it not from a long time ago fast and furious original almost same plot, but the remake changed some things around such as brian the cop instead of being the so called DOM, etc.....

i like moviex cuz they are fun i like to go to the theater too most movies from the sixties are okay but slow moving todays movies move along faster but often have too much CGI.....
Isn't THAT annoying to read? I know that nobody wants to be insulted, and nobody likes to have their grammar corrected, but come on, people! A few typos are okay . A run on sentence happens to the best of us. It's just very disappointing when some here combine every bad grammar habit in one post. You know that you can do better. SOME members will overlook your posts and avoid helping you if your typing skills are terrible.

cavemanno1

I wouldn't say it's annoying but you got a point there,i think!
My second language is English and i always make sure i have not made a terrible mistake!Since we have the"spell check"it's pretty easy to correct your mistake! However you know what will happen next, won't you because this is a  :horse: and been down that road too many times!

If it annoys you just ignore it but  pointing out someone's mistake isn't wise! You don't know his circumstances, maybe worked 14 hours, but then why aren't he resting then :slap:,or has reading disabilities!I'm not saying he has because i don't know him but don't judge people! If it was a whole book like that i would say it's pretty annoying but it was a few sentenses put together!

Be happy your English is better and start a thread on the off topic discussion for English improvement!I'm not making fun of you i swear!I would like to improve my English so if you start that thread with choosing the right grammar, words or expressions questions i will be the first one to try to do it!

I even would thank you for helping me to get my English better!

To be and let to be!

Back to the topic!

Thanks,
Peter

Caveman, you did fine. I fully understood what you wrote and I hope to read from you in the future. You set a good example for the rest of us.

I heard they are going to do a Fall Guy movie. Maybe heard from this site. I really like that show

Kern Dog

I wished that they would release MORE seasons of the Fall Guy TV show. I have the first season and thats it. Its a little campy and dated, but I had great memories of the show from my youth.

Inked_Ghandi

I recently watched the movie drive and there was a of mopars. Still can't figure out what he was driving though.l
