Squeaky leaves

Top 'o the day gang! I've got squeaky leaf springs on my 69. They are in good shape so replacement isn't necessary or affordable at this point. What to do about this? Do I pull them off, take them apart, clean/paint and then replace the rubber pads between the leaves? Are the pads even available?  :shruggy:

Tom I knew a guy who swore that DuPont Teflon spray stopped his springs from talking. You might try a relatively cheap experiment before the more serious options.

I agree with 68X426. This works in the short term.. If it's not a daily driver or driven on very dusty roads on a very regular basis this can work for a good while...
