Most of the materials were purchased at the Home Depot
7 x 24" 3/4" and 1 x 48" 1" aluminum square tubing
1 2'x2' aluminum sheet stock
14 1" 90* hardware brackets
10 medium based light sockets
10 compression sleeves for light sockets
8 candelabra light sockets
Several pieces of threaded lamp rod hardware
1 spool of two conductor 14 Gage lamp wire and a plug
And believe it or not 10 empty Progressso soup cans !!!!

Today I mounted the tree onto a rolling base that came off an old collapsed computer chair I had kicking around. I used a piece of Rigid shop vac extension tube - cut the ring off, and it fit perfectly into the chair base !! made for a perfect stalk to slide the tree cord and tube into! It fits perfectly tight and perfectly balanced = looks as though it was manufactured together!
Well, I still have some details to finish, I m going to do a pre-staged and staged signs, a probably some Scat Pack decals on the center panel...but here are a few pics of the project so far!

That's pretty clever. I wonder how beer or pop cans would work in place of the soup cans?

Thanks for the props guys!! Since I dont have my Charger to restore anymore, I HAVE to find something to get creative with my time out in the garage...mods on the new Challenger are too easy and clean to perform, so I need a little something to challenge me !  ;)
