Can anyone that has a second generation Ram answer this? I need to know the speaker sizes for the front doors and for the rear doors on a extended cab? The right front one hasn't worked since I bought the truck, and the rest are no better then a old telephone sound even with the equilizer :P

LOL! When I bought my 1999 Ram the pass. door speaker wasn't working either. I found they appear to be 6X9's but knowing Dodge, they are something like 5 3/4X8 3/8....

I dont really know whats in them as mine on my 95 still work great and have never had the need to tear the door panel off. Might see if you can go to a stereo web site and see if they have a speaker section where you could punch in the make and model of vehicle and maybe it would tell you.

Depending on what audio system you have the speakers might not be common, the Infinity system uses speakers with built-in amplifiers.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

TruckDriver

I dont have the infinity stereo. Only the one with the 3 band equalizer.

Usually does a good job with gear and has a "choose your vehicle" , put in the year, make, model..etc will let you know what is in the car and you can select what you want to buy "front door", "rear door"...etc

TruckDriver

Thanks for the link. I saved that.
