THINK THESE GO IN THE DOORS OF MY 69, BUT UNSURE WHERE? thanks for any help

dont remember seeing those in my doors (1968)

Yep! You're on the right track.  :yesnod:
They slide behind the inside door handle pull on the inside door shell. Kinda like a guide or a protector from the inside linkage. Usually found brittle or missing.  :cheers:
