Enough paint??

I got about a half gallon of Kirker single stage urethane and hardener. I figured by the time I mix that together, I figured I will have a little over 2.5 quarts of sprayable material (mixes 3:1). Will this be enough to paint the outside only (no jambs or anything) of a '99 Neon. It's an old beater, want to make it look a little better as cheap as I can, and I have this paint in my shop, left over from a small project. Tech sheet does not call for any reducer, just mix 3:1 paint/activator.

Thanks,
Jason

If the mix is 3:1 & you have a half gallon, you should have 3 quarts of sprayable material.

I've never used or heard of that product before.
What color are you spraying? What color is the car now? (i.e. Are you painting a lighter color over a darker one, vice-versa, etc?) Are you planning on sanding/rubbing it later?
I would think with an HVLP gun, you might be cutting it close. You probably won't have any left over. It all depends on how it covers. If it isn't a special color (such as black), can you get another quart of it to be on the safe side? Most jobbers around here will let you return a straight color like that as long as it isn't opened.

Edit:
Just saw 2 replies. I think a medium blue over a dark green is gonna be tough to cover. Just a hunch, though.
