Since you all seem to like these. Here's a picture of my new garage. It's 24' by 36'. Can't wait to get the Charger in it.

That's cool - I built one which is 34x26 and does a good job, but thinking about more... Threads like these get me amp'd

Thanks for the compliments. I don't live on a lake, just have a large pond in the back yard. The block under the car is what I believe to be the original 383 block that was in the car until I foolishly let it freeze up one fall evening back in the early 80's. I'd had a pinhole leak in the radiator for awhile and was dumping straight water back in. Until recently I didn't know where to check the numbers on the block, but had been curious about it. I recently drug the block out of the woods to see. I shucked the original transmission out of it back 1978.

Plans for the Charger is to transplant the 440 and transmission I have in a 70 New Yorker. The New Yorker only had 58K miles on it. I have a lot of parts saved up for the car including most of the parts to add 11.75 disc brakes. The car needs a lot of work though. It was originally PP1 red with a white top and white interior. The plan is to go back to the original colors and update the suspension, brakes and drive train a bit.
