I have a 99 Ram 1500 with 360.   :eek2:  I need a tetanus shot to drive it but it runs great.
Some months ago I had to put a water pump in it. I didn't do it but had it done.
Ever since then I have no heat.  Worked fine before, in fact used to blast me out of the cab.
I thought it may have been because of the thermostat ... so I cahnged it.  Didn't help.  Flushed the heater core ... a lot of crap came out but THAT didn't help.
Any other ideas?    :shruggy:

check that the hose going in,and the hose coming out are both hot. even flushing out it could still be somewhat clogged. if both hoses are hot you have water flow and i would look at the selector switch to see if it is actually opening the door on the inside of the box.

Sounds like you have air trapped in the system, remove the rad cap and bring the RPM up about 1500-2000 grand turn the heat on max to get the coolant to circulate and you should get heat in no time.
