A friend of mine has a 69 Cobra and watching him change plugs or tighten header bolts is painful to see.

jonw29

That is NOT a fun job.Its a little easier without the smog equiptment but still no fun.

FJ5WING

I never got to enjoy the pleasure of head bolts but plugs in my 428CJ Mach1 was definetly not a joyous occasion, even if it was only a one time deal.
wingless now, but still around.

Ghoste

Not the heads, but I'm sure they are fun too, but the headers.  Those exhaust ports by the shock towers are tight, tight, tight.

nascarxx29

I had a big block shelby tilt motor to one side to change plugs.

Brought good strong money $ 125,000.00
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

Aero426

That was a little lighter than what I expected for a prototype.   But it was about double of what the nicest production T will bring.

jonw29

Both of you are correct.I havent talked to Jason yet but I feel that he is gonna be somewhat disappointed. For the car to be what it is,the prototype,IMHO it should have done better. As Doug said it is wayyyy more than any other T will bring but as special as it is I feel that it should have been closer to 2.Again IMHO.

Aero426

I was thinking it would bring $150 to $175.   Tell you what, I would rather have that red T than the white automatic Superbird that brought 200k.

C5HM

Jason and his Dad did an incredible job on that car. The selling price was likely just a break even. It should have brought much. much more.

jonw29

I just got off of the phone with Jason. He was very happy with the sale price of the car.He would have liked to have had more obviously but as Doug and John pointed out,it should have done a lot better than it did.He was very complimentary of how the promotion and sale were handled. The bad part to me is that the fellow that bought the car is more than likely to put the car up and it will in obscurity for years. That does not help the awareness of our cars.Just MY  :Twocents:.JW
