Hey gang...
I should know this, but it's been awhile and most of my recent Chargers have had those funny grilles and pointy snouts.. But, are the grilles mess of a '68 and '69 Charger the same? I'm helping a buddy repair some of the missing vertical segments of his '69 Charger's grille. A nice fella has offered his '68 Charger parts grille as a donor to cut segments out and plastic repair his '69...

Thanks..

I'm thinking they would work, Troy. As long as your broken sections you're trying to repair are not that large you should be OK.
The '68 has the argent silver outer ridge that has to meet the headlamp doors just like on a '69, and the headlamp doors (pass side especially) are nearly identical with the exception of the emblem holes on the driver's headlamp door. Those ridges are in the same spot.
You'll have more "fins" to choose from on the '68, the open span on the '69 is a lot smaller due to the center divider. They don't taper smaller as it gets closer the the divider, the height stays the same. You should be able to find at least some sections that will work. Plus, if a friend is offering to "donate" it you've got nothing to lose. Go for it!  :2thumbs:

If you are still unsure maybe you can ping Surf Charger and get some of the busted up 69 grille he has on that parts RT SE car.  :shruggy:
