Anyone else play with GoPro Cameras? I am just starting and I must say that I love it. I currently only have one, but hopefully that will change. Here are a few videos I made with my GoPro and Sony HandiCam. Let see what you have done. Also, I am using Windows Movie maker to edit.

This is the first one. It is using only the GoPro.

This is my second one. The GoPro was used for all the outside shots, the Handicam was mounted on a tripod that is in the back seat.

I really want to start using original music in my videos. If anyone out there wants to help in that way, please PM me.

Nice videos.  Which model GoPro were you using?  Couldn't help but notice you were always lifting your hand to check your speed.  Was you worried ?  The country view was great but remote looking.  How's the sound pickup on those or would the wind from being outside been too much?  Good job  :2thumbs:

It was the first time I had used the GoPro and the suction cup mount, so I was a little perenoid of it falling off. So I was checking my speed to see how fast I was going compared to how much movement I could see on the mount. I had it up to 65mph and there was no exsesive movement (shaking) from the wind. You'll notice that I was checking the mirror a lot as well, that was for the same reason. They are a really cool little set up.

As for the sound, even with the soundproof case on, it did pick up a lot of wind noise. But when it comes to regular videos, the sound is pretty good.

I found where you mount it has much to do with it as well for reducing noise.

Also if take a small sock and put the camera inside so it's looking out the top of the sock, it will greatly reduce the wind noise as well.

Does the video load to a standard memory card or what?

SDHC

How many GoPro minutes of video can you get onto, say, a 16 GB SDHC?

If you have a normal HD GoPro (1080) and have the recommended class 6 or greater SDHC card you should get about 2 to 2 1/2 hours worth at 1080 HD at 30fps.

That trick works GREAT. I took a few videos this summer and it was all wind.. Until doing that...

One of my favorite GoPro videos....
