Anone have pictures of a 275 wide tire on an 8" wide wheel.  15" or 17" but with more than the usual 4" backspacing.

I feel that the 295 might be a bit too wide but a 275 pushed out more towards the quarter might be just the ticket.

These are 255 on 15x8 wheels with 3 3/4" BS so they're pushed out about 3/4" from stock. Just imagine the tire being about 3/8" closer to the wheel well. (275 is less than 1" wider so less than 1/2" on either side of the rim center).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Hey that's no bad, that may be just what I need.

Thanks Troy!

Sorry no photos, but 295's with 4.5" b/s on 8"-9" wide wheels will fit easily or 10" wide wheels with 5" b/s, I've had  a few B bodies with that combo.... I had 11''s wide wheels with 295's TA's for the street & 315's drag radials on 11" wide wheels with 5.5" b/s Halibrands.... There is a great tire fitment tool made by Percey, it sells for about $70 at Summit Racing, you will be able to tell exactly what tire & wheel combo will fit on every car with that.... I had plans to switch over to 295s' when I bought another set of torq D's.  I was wanting a little bit of a rake with the ass end being a little higher but the 295s' were too short compared to the 275s' so I bought the wheels for nothing.  Plus the BS was 3.75" with the 8.5 wheel vs. 4" with the 7s' I had.
