Basically all I want to know is how the curved little corner trim piece is attached to the car.  I see there is a rivet on there but this one basically just fell off and looked like it was just held on by some form of sealant or something.  Is there something missing form my '69?? Where is the rest of it? The curved piece connects to the flat piece which is held in place with screws.

Are you talking the piece that lays on the quarter panel??  That is in a footlocker waiting to be put back on after she gets painted.  Is that all that holds that piece on there then is where it slides together with the drip rail moldings and the flat molding on the quarter panel??

Just 6T9 CHGR

Yes...its an interference fit in the corner...the inside tab of the corner slides under the weatherstripping
