Yeah, The stupid thing screwed up my computer 2 weeks ago the day before I left on 1 week vacation. Unplugged everything for the week I was gone. Came back & plugged computer in & no sign of it. Did the same thing to my sister. LEON.

That has all the hallmarks of being the virus. Looks like you got stung.  You should have kept Windows up to date and had windows security essentials running.  Is this what you got?  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-vista-home-security-2012 If so, it will be hard to remove but likely not impossible.  Hope your computer is backed up as you are about to go on a learning journey.  Kim

How did you get rid of it all the way? I think I took care of it but not sure though. I ran MSE an also Stinger to kill it the best as I could.

That's the same thing I kept getting every time I got on Moparts. The only way I could get rid of it each time was to do a system retore back to a day I knew was clean. I even have up to date McAfee running and it didn't catch it for some reason. It's the first time I've had any kind of a virus or trojan in several years.

I have MSE, I for got to update after we went past new years. I updated the night I got hit. I had to also get Stinger to help out. I didn't shut my system down at all. I kapt it running. MSE froze up in mid scan, but from the report of it's history log, there was two (2) bad virus on the system.
