Correct ballast resistor?

Putting in electronic ignition and wondering which ohms resistor is correct? Napa p/n anyone? Going on stock 71 383 charger.

depends on the coil used , I like the lower resistance ballast for more spark output , high output coils are more likely to put up with this

How come the MSD blaster asks for 2 ballast resistors?

it shouldn`t ever need 2 ballasts , use one ballast matched to the coil

Lol...I've had two resistors installed in my car for years.  I could have sworn that it was necessary.  I'll just yank one of 'em off...

I had the lower resistance ballast on mine and yanked it off.  The car seemed to start burning up ecu's as soon as I did this, so I changed it out and so far so good but ask me again in August.
