Is the "Anti-Slip" differential the old Sure-Grip?

I picked up a 98 Ram 1500 pretty cheap a few months ago, and it has listed on the sticker under the hood that it has a 3.55 anti-slip differential.

I was curious what this had inside to make it not slip? Is it the clutch/dana style or the cone style or what? Main reason I'm asking is when I make a turn this thing makes enough noise that I can hear it over the radio.

I went to Chrysler and picked up a bottle of the additive and that didn't seem to help at all.   Any suggestions?

Obviously you need to pull the cover & take a look , something is not right . I am not sure what system was used in that year

Your truck has the Trac-loc differential which is a clutch-type.

When you encounter chattering noise in turns, the factory recommends completely draining and refilling the rear end with the recommended lube...after that, make a dozen slow figure-eight turns to distribute the fresh lube in the clutches.
