Do any of Daisy Dukes Roadrunners still exist

Does anyone know if any of the original 71 RR's that Daisy drove in the Dukes Of Hazzard got saved?

I am likely wrong but I don't think any can be documented as still existing.  They did use Road Runners from a couple years besides 71 before giving up on the car as being too hard to find and wrecked it so they could put her in the Jeep.

Well thats a shame. I wish some people would do a clone of her car. I always thought the 71 body style was good looking.

Basically it would just need to be a yellow 71 Road Runner with slotted mags.  Should be some out there like that now without even knowing they are a Daisy clone.

i thought i seen a pic somewhere that had the general, cooters wrecker, roscoes cop car, and the daisy road runner. may be wrong, but i thought so.

I am pretty sure Dasiy's car had chrome wagon wheels on it not slotted mags. But I do love slotted mags so I would love to see them on in instead.

She did have a Yellow 73 RR, I have a photo of, but the site won't let me load it  ...   The 71 RR got totaled, didn't it go off a cliff or something... There was a red one, in some BS race scene they did, with some funky hood with 2 stacks/air cleaners sticking out the top on each side, but I think that was suppose to be Cooters car...

So how come if someone says they dont care for the appearance of the GL, three thousand DOH fans get on here to tell us all how stupid we are for not loving what they consider to be the best looking car ever and when someone asks a question like this none of these guys who have memorized every episode are on?

which episode is it? i have a few of the season years. i think the first 4 or 5 mabey. never opened them yet, but for some investigative work i may have to look.

Well can't say I have memorized every episode at all. I just started remembering that one when we started talking about it. It must have been an earlier on though well atleast before the fake stunts. I think the RR comes busting through the gate while Luke is arm wrestling the guy. The guy that looses would have gotten his hand on top of a cactus. I guess I have just seen them enough over the years to remember some stuff. Sorry not a DOH expert.wish I could remember the episode

The show with the red crossrammed RR is "Jude Emery" from the end of season #2.  It was pretty soon after Daisy's RR was totalled.  The crew wiped out that car during the jump at the end of the episode (it actually ended up on its roof).

The Way I understand it with these "Dukes" cars, all you really need is the VIN, Firewall, Dash, and windshield.

IMO there's rarely been a worse redesign to the front of a car than what took place between the 72 and 73 Roadrunner model years (not counting the new "Charger" of course).

There again, you can blame the feds.  5 mph bumper standards uglified a bunch of cars nearly as much as CAFE standards did with jellybean cars.

Me too, I like the 71-72 better, but still like the 73's also... The 68-70 RR's are my favorites, with 68 RR HT actually being my favorite year....

The other day, I was watching an old episode from Hunter and in season 4, there was a car which could have been leftover from that fleet of RRs  

As we know, Hunter and The A-Team used up the rest of the 78 Furys...

Daisy's first car in the series was a yellow 1974 Plymouth Road Runner with a black stripe along the sides and over the roof. Although the car was intended to be a Plymouth Road Runner, later appearances in the second season used a 1971 Plymouth Satellite with a matching "Road Runner" stripe running along the sides and over the roof. The car met its demise when the accelerator stuck while Bo and Luke were driving it during a chase in the second season episode "The Runaway", sending it over a cliff. Due to the episodes being broadcast in a considerably different order to that of which they were filmed, the Plymouth made several returns after it was supposedly destroyed. (After the Plymouth had been destroyed on-screen, several models of the car appeared in various episodes with different paint jobs, serving as other vehicles within the context of the stories).

After losing that car, she received her trademark white 1980 Jeep CJ-7 "Golden Eagle" named (The) Dixie at the end of "The Runaway". The initial version of the Jeep seen at the end of this episode was noticeably different to what would become the normal version, with a slightly different paint job, doors with "Dixie" painted on, and "Golden Eagle" printed by on the hood on either side of an Eagle emblem. After this first appearance, the design changed to have a lighter paint job, no doors, and "Dixie" painted alongside the emblem on the hood. However, as with other vehicles in the show, there were different versions of the Jeep used for filming of various episodes. Sometimes the Jeep would have a slightly different paint scheme, and it would alternate between automatic and manual transmissions. The design of the roll-bars also varied across the seasons.

On a number of occasions, Daisy also drove Uncle Jesse's pick-up truck. Certain storylines occasionally called for her to drive the General Lee.

'71 - '72 Road Runners are one of my all-time favorite Mopars ever.

Had one when I was 17, was my high-school car. It was painted very similar: Lemon Twist yellow, black strobes, go-wing, 440-auto on the column, with a white split hi-back bench interior. Had old-school Cragar SST mags on it. Oh, yeah, it was a CLONE. Sold it when I was 19 to buy my '70 Charger. 
The next buyer put a 6-pack on it, & from there I lost track of it. I would love to find that car again someday, but it probably met it's demise years ago.
