that is the point right there, some one getting paid to make things better wasted the time and money in investigate the subject and gather all the data (erroneous data at that) and then paid to have a web site put up and maintained to tell someone what to do with their own personal vehicle

Actually, I think you're wrong, It's because those dildos including the unions have robbed enough money from the taxpayers that they can afford to spend more on deceptive advertising. Just look at Issue 2 in Ohio this last round... The unions spent 30 million dollars on scare tactic advertising and it went down. After all they were the only ones that were going to lose out if it stayed law.  Normal everyday taxpayers don't have a chance.

I don't see a problem here? There is no legislation, and there doesn't seem to be any indication of enforcement. All I see is taxpayer's money spent on recommending the curbing of personal choice. 

The problem here is, in my opinion when this stuff get down on paper as just suggestions or it's a state sponsored information, it doesn't usually take too long before, some big govt. socialist libtard group or global warming or green lobbyists, tries to make it into law for everyone...

hmm, i would have thought the problem would be people not changing their oil enough, rather than too often. most 'average' drivers i know don't maintain their vehicles and let them blow heavy smoke and other bad engine problems that'd be fixed with regular servicing.

That is so true, however greenies don't see that as a problem. They also totally ignore problem where all the old batteries go from econoboxes they want us to drive. Also energy that needs to be made to charge those batteries. I already pay too much for my energy each month (especially during winter) I'd hate to imagine if I had to charge one of those zip zap cars. I'd pay more for energy than what I'd save on gas.
