Steep by a factor of 2.  :Twocents:

Is it an illusion or is that front end 4 inches too high?

Not an illusion. Kind has that straight axle look. Some body cranked on the t bars a little too much.

Nice looking car, does sit a little high in the front.

He is dreaming on price in this economy.  He may want to drop the "1" at the beginning of the price.

4 gear & arm strong steering, oh yeah...lotsa fun.  Original owner accounts for something but I think that extra 1 in the price is about 5 years too late.

I don't know, or I did at one time and forgot.

In '70, is the B body like an E body in that whenever the elephant was ordered it automatically got the air hood?

Good lookin' old ride.

It does sit high but I like the look & I guess so did the owner.

If that 175,000 dollar car can have a normal battery I'm gonna skip another expensive repro batt and grab me a die hard.
Price is high, so is the front.  Wood dash not complete, hot rod rims etc....  I'll pass.  Nice car though but I like my Charger better.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

All 70 RR/GTX/SB/Coronet RT with a Hemi had the N96 hood standart.
Not so on the E-Bodies. The Hemicuda had it standart, on the Challenger it had to be ordered extra.

This FJ5 GTX looks great. What is the story behind it? Is it already restored or does it still look like this?

Yeah, I was thinking Barracuda, forgot about the Challenger.

Isn't there a difference in the air grabber for a power brake car?

maxwellwedge

There is on a 69 for sure.

It's funny you never see them advertised one way or the other.

Dont really know what happened to it. Thought I had the deal done (who here hasnt been there?)  A bit much to type the whole story right now. Car was in the barn a long time. Was owned by a factory (MOPAR)sponsored drag racer back in the day. The blue one is my next project. 440/auto/8 3/4 Not what the green one was, but for about 7% of what I offered on the green one.   And they both need just about the same amount of work.
