which dist springs would you use ? MP dist

-Stroked 400, 440 crank
-KB215 pistons
-stock 400 rods
-Eddy performer intake
-TQ carb
-HP exhaust manifolds.
-2.5 exhaust
-452 ported heads and bigger valves, 91 CC chambers
-10.2 CR average ( due the bad block decking job )
-Crower 282HDP cam set 0 degrees with Summit double roller timming kit
-FBO ignition kit
-Firecore250 wires
-MP 175K TC
-Dist adjusted to 20º mechanical, plus initial time to be set 14º to º16º according with Chryco suggestion. Vacuum advance will be connected
-Street use, as a driver mostly. But maybe some HOT street use depending to the cars around :P.

I began with purple and orange springs

some other sugestion ?

I can't find on line the P5153446 kit instruction sheet to show the diagrams and I don't have scanner.

I have allways replaced the heavy spring with a lighter one to dial in the advance curve....this should bring the total in between 2200-2500 rpm. Leave the medium spring installed and just replace the heavy one  ;)

wouldn't be better to keep the max advance higher as posible keeping a nice initial fast curve for throttle response? I meant to prevent detonation? Or is backwards and max advance must be reached sooner ?

Faster curve should be more responsive until you get detonation then you need to slow it down some
