Vinyl top is going on

 I am installing the top on the Charger and have a question regarding the windshield pillar seam.

Where is the "factory" location?
Is it worth the extra effort to put it in there?

After debating for an hour, I decided to go without the seam at the pillar. Reason being is that I didn't remove the windshield and figured it would be a pain in the ass trying to glue it down and make it look good.

On the plus side I was able to get the clips out, getting them back in will be the real challenge.....other than the other sail panel of course.

I was freaking out on the drivers side as it seemed like it wasn't going to lay down. A little heat, stretch and pull, she layed right in there
