Dodge Chargers In Iceland !

I'm 16 years old from Iceland and I have a Big Thing for Mopar/Muscle Cars ! 


Here are some pictures of Chargers in my Country.

Are you close to Keflavic?  The U.S. had an air base there at one time I remember (a friend was stationed there in the late 80's) F-15s I think.

I was stationed in Keflavik from Jan 2000- Mar 2003. Worked at the TV/Radio station on base. Never saw a single Charger there, even when they had car shows on the base. Saw lots of Ladas.

No, they did not only let '69 Chargers in haha.


I have a lot of pictures of '66-'74 Chargers 


This is the same Charger that came to Iceland in '73

He has not been in traffic since 1990 


And the owner of him refuses to sell him  And for 10 years he always say this: I'm going to restore him. But nothing happens

Welcome and good luck getting this one. If its sitting outside wont be long and it will be gone to rust. I bet it will end up as scrap and he wont sell it to someone to fix up, but rather send it to the scrap yard in the end.

The Charger has not been tin traffic since 1990 and has been sitting outside for about 12 years now

Did Dodge ever sell Chargers in Iceland? I know some countries had cars imported in limited numbers (They did this with the Dodge Monaco in Switzerland, I do believe for the 74-75 model years.)
More than likely though, I guess they were all imported from the US?

yeah that dont look good     look how the drivers  side inner finder is bent up too , looks like its been in a wreck of some sort

wow ,  awesome pictures !!!  although some not so good to see , chargers being parted /stripped & scrapped
