My motor build has begun

Trying to get every bolt as the factory did as good as i can anyway
Some bolts i have to use blackener solution on

Looking good - FYI - The power steering caps were painted black - same as the pump. And, there should be spark plug wire retainers under the bolt under the valley baffle retainer and one under the thermostat retainer bolt....also painted engine color.

Hey Bob, looks great!  May I ask, where did you get your distributor hold-down clamp?  Is it finished in the same plating as what the factory used?

You blasted it and used a clear zinc paint, or sent it out for clear zinc plating?

Baked my exhaust manifolds today in the owen in *400 F
Now installed with new original bolt set

Had a little dust in the paint on one of the valve cover and want to repaint it :( before installing the engine
