Now that the new year is upon us, what is your automotive resolution?

Mine is to give my Charger a second leg to walk on.

What is yours?

2005 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster Custom - Maggie
2012 370Z NISMO - Courtney
1979 Corvette L-82 - Lilly
1969 Dodge Charger R/T Clone - Vanessa

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Fit the engine back, complete the RHD conversion and build the new dash panel with custom lights and digital gauges
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

Keep driving the Charger and keep restoring the Challenger....get her in paint some time this year I hope.

Drive it.  Hopefully fix all the little things that have been bothering me on it like the broken seat spring, vibrating speaker under the dash, and any other odds and ends I have to do that I can't remember right now.

Redo the instrument cluster and bezels (in progress), swap the eddy 750 for a thermoquad and make the 440 run as best as possible.  Get 15" wheels, install eddy ias shocks in the rear and install my rear sway bar and the wilwood front disc brake kit which are still in their boxes.  If I have time, fix the a/c controls and hook up and prep the a/c system for r134a.  That should keep me plenty busy, I can't have it sit to long, I need to drive it!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Sell four or five of these project cars I have stashed away and spend every last cent I make on my Daytona project.

UFO

Get my two projects done.
Just in case the Mayan people are right.

Ghoste

There are a few on here who know my resolution :D.  Other than that one which I'll keep private for now, I think my goal will just be to use the car more this year.

1. I got a few loose ends to tie-up on the 69, but should have it ready to hit the road this spring.

2. I don't know if its a disease, or I'm a glutton for punishment, but the search is on, I want to find/buy/begin another tear-down/rebuild project. Wanting an A-body really bad.

Happy New Years to all

Drive it, and fix minor issues, while saving up for paint...

I plan on at least driving my Charger this year for the 1st time in 30 years. It's sat since 1982 without an engine. 20 of those years were while I was in the Navy. Recently I've been building a house. We're living in it not but it's not finished. I finally got someone started on building my garage last week, so as soon as the roof goes on, the Charger goes in. Can't wait.  :icon_smile_big:

Doing what it takes to make sure mine runs twelves in the quarter mile at all times.
My 1969 Charger. RIP......Rest in pieces.

Mine would be finishing the car off. What started off as a quick few month freshen up ended up turning into a year long ordeal. At least most of the stuff is done and now just needs assembly.

1. Assemble Heater Box
2. Restore Parking Brake Pedal
3. Install Dash
4. Rebuild Steering Column
5. Drive

Magnumcharger

Cut off the cheap-ass thin quarter panels I laboriously welded on, and replace them with thicker AMD panels!!
Then FINISH my Charger!!!

General_01

1. Drop tranny and adjust the bellhousing so the tranny lines up better.

2. Adjust the clutch and get a new starter plate. Fabricated a flimsy one when we put it in.

3. Put the car on a chassis dyno and get the carb tuned a little better.

4. Redo some wiring in the car for the toggle switches on the center console.

5. Put a new or universal fuse box in.

90% sure these will be done  :2thumbs:

Wish list is this:

FAST efi system, new front seat covers, TTI headers and exhaust

99% sure these will not be done. Sure wish that money tree out back would start growing.

greenpigs

1) Put new modern master cylinder on.
2) Get sub frame connectors on
3) Put them damn CE shocks on the rear
4) See if a buddy will go halves on renting some chassis dyno time.

I would like to run it down the 1/4 mile but want to make sure it is up to snuff first & avoid a 16+ sec time slip.
