I am thinking about re-doing my gauges, My factory ones suck and are inaccurate.
Been toying with the idea of getting another gauge housing that I can hack on and installing new Autometer (maybe) Speedo, Tack, Oil pressure, Fuel, Temp and Volt gauges.

Another question, if I decide to do this... there have been several topics about repro fuel senders being incorrect due to the sender being constructed like a chevy sender (0 ohms empty/60 ohms full) compared to Mopars (10 ohms empty/73 full). Should I get a fuel gauge for a chevy sender instead of a gauge calibrated for a Mopar sender. Just thought that would 'correct' the Fuel reading, since I have a repro sender.

I think if you use a GM gauge and sending unit piece you would be fine - you would need to verify the ohms on the replacement sending unit to be sure it will work correctly though

Just restored this entire dash for a customer.  68 Dash, New Vintage gauges.  A LOT of fabrication, but worth it in the end I think.  Small ones are recessed behind the bezel, circa stock,  with a bolt in housing so I can remove all the gauges if necessary.   Tach and speedo mounted from the front.  Also removable.   :2thumbs:

That is by far the coolest non-stock cluster Ive ever seen. Great job.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............
