I did some thinking here, seeing on how people like to complain about to many photos being posted in threads (pressly mine) an how it hurt's Troy. I decided I would be a good forum member and help Troy out an not post any more photos on here. I will only place a link to photos in the replys.  :2thumbs:

There shouldn't be anymore issues with that decision I think.

Thank you all, an you all have a good an nice night.  :2thumbs:

No offense, Jim, but this seems like one of those thoughts that could have just stayed in your head. Your filter is letting too much stuff through again.

Bull, if you have nothing good to say (which no offence, but you hardly due). Take an go into the kitchen, an work the spice rack alittle would you.. an as for my filter, it's perfectly okay.

Why is it, if I annoy so f-ing many members on here, then why in heck, is people clicking on my threads for? You would think they would have half a brain an not even click on the thread if I annoyed them that much.

Remember one thing, I choose to make a thread, BUT I don't force anyone to click on it or go into it an read it. The readers (forum members) that clicks on the threads title IS THE ONE that makes there own choice to click on the thread title.. NOT ME. So there for with them doing that, they annoy them self's if I do really annoy them.

I don't mind suggestions or anything, to be honest I'm always open to them really.

Funny, isn't it? You say you are willing to take suggestions from people but when you get them you start to argue with those who make them. Honestly, Jim, if you could learn to be more selective about your posts (which means post a lot less banality and minutia and TMI), most of your problems would go away.

While you seem to think my posts are negative, I see them as honest truth. You obviously need more of that in your life, IMO.

Okay, I will sum it up for you. Look at how many times I was told well gave a suggestion to about photos, yet look at other threads where people post lots of photos in also. None of those people ever have "a suggestion" ever made to them.. it's always me. Now if you was me (which your not) I bet you would get tired of it also. Like I said before, I am open to suggestion's. But what you fail to see here lately is that I was being good, I even took the suggestion that was given to me, but I posted a thread asking why other's don't have that same suggestion given to them, an why is it always me. Yet you all seem to look at me more an say that I am arguing or starting an argument which I am not.. it's you all that are starting the argument if you all look more close.

All I asked before, was WHY am I the only one that ever get the "suggestion" about photos when others post lot's an yet they don't even get the suggestion given to them. Look at JB666 for ex. He has two thread's, Both loaded with photos, yet YET I have not seen him given the "suggestion" about all his photos he post's. yet when I post I get the suggestion on how many photos I should post. Yet I'm starting an argument? no, I'm not. I'm only asking a legit question as to why others doesn't get the suggestion by others about many photos they post in there own threads as well.

bull

I've never complained about the pics you post and I honestly don't care. I'm not going to go through them and try to figure out if you are the only person getting complaints about it. As far as I can tell though, you are the only one complaining about the complaints.

Either way it really smacks of attention seeking. I've known many people who are constantly claiming to be victims of something to get positive reinforcement. They'll say how bad they are at something, how everyone is out to get them, or that nobody cares about them, etc., just so someone will come along and boost their ego. But the ego boosts are fleeting so they have to be sought again and again. This is how I see you, Jim. Again, you can call this negative; I call it honest truth.

This is why I believe you start these threads asking for opinions from everyone on the site: You know you are going to get generic positive reinforcement from the usual suspects as well as some honest truth and some mockery. The positive comments from the usual suspects boost your ego right away because they don't challenge your thought patterns or behavior. The mockery eventually boosts your ego too because the usual suspects often defend you, and then you argue with the people who are honest until you get them to either shut up and go away or mock you. And once they start mocking you can count on the usual suspects to again defend you and your ego is boosted even more. This is why I believe Chris mentioned ego earlier but it was not explained and you immediately started arguing with him about it.

In summary, when you get the advice you ask for here you basically pick and choose the advice you want until it boosts your ego (easy money), someone defends you (not so easy money but still money), or until you can argue enough with a person enough to where they either give up or their final comments finally fit into a quasi ego-boosting category (an amiable draw which also boosts the ego by creating false reconciliation).

The only advice you're ever going to get from me, Jim, is the kind that will help you out of this vicious cycle. I don't care if you like it or not but I think you really need the honesty.

Bull, first off, I didn't say anything that you was the one complaining. You yet again failed to see that point also. I said "general" people meaning anyone.. so I wasn't just pointing the finger at you or saying it was just you.

The thing is an I will say this again, I ask why doesn't other people get the suggestion treatment around here besides me? an yet some of the people on here looks at me an starts in on me. All I see is just me always getting the suggestion treatment an no one else.

Plus, you want to talk about ego's an boost's an photos. What are you looking for when you post photos of your charger restoration? You see what you just said to me also comes back at you an your photo posting as well not just me man, that goes for anyone also. I'm doing the same thing as your doing when I post stuff, I'm only sharing stuff for others that likes to see it. If they want to comment on the stuff then by all means do. But what gets me is when I post in my own thread, an then start getting people coming in an given me the "suggestion" on how many photos to post or how to post.. when I see other's posting photos all the dang time an yet they don't get that treatment though. Why don't those people get the same treatment? that is what i ask, an yet people took and turnt the issue into being base at me.

Damn Bull, that was on the money and well said(typed). It's a shame it falls on deaf ears and eyes though.  :brickwall:

Jim all of this whining came from one guy...ONE guy dropping a note in your thread about linking the pics? You truly love playing the victim in what seems all circumstances of your life.

Tilar

Why is this even a topic? If you're not going to post anything, just don't. And if you want to post pictures just do it. No need to broadcast it one way or another.

If Troy had an issue with the number of pics in a post, I'm sure he would say something about it.
