Vintage American Beer Cans

Thanks Leon and the other guys with pics, some real tangible history out there, just in peoples garages not inside some museum, ver cool, a neat look at a previous period in time. I've only got a few myself, one I found in a commercial highrise dated from the mid 60's , the cans required a triangle opener to pierce the top twice, one to drink from and one to aireate  it.                           Oh, and cheers from NZ , it is beer after all

Tennant cans with the girls on them were cool, and Old frothingslosh, now that was ahot model on those cans.  "the pale stale ale with the foam on the bottom"

Bob, What is the one you have from mid 60's requiring a can opener. Whats the brand name. The first pull tab was made in 1962 on Iron City beer from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  OLDGOLD69, What can company did your dad work for, American, Continental, National, Heekin, ect, ect. Would like to see the test Billy can, gotta Pic. LEON.

Leon, the pierce top mid 60' one is of NZ origin not US unfortunately, I'll put up a pic when i get back in a few days time . What a cool collection you and Troy have there, I've never seen screw bottle types before

he worked for continental  he made cans for breweries from the midwest states to pennsylvania did alot of commerative cans for festivals

Did he keep any test cans?  I'm familiar with some new zealand cans like Deep cove, ect. LEON.
