Googled how much these guys make.   It looks like a single climb might pay as much as $1,600, but, on an annual basis, a tower climber is going to bring down a whopping $60- 70K.   

Why not just flip burgers for McDonalds in North western Western Australia. I heard a junior can be earning 80k a year up there so I googled jobs at Maccas and found this:
