It wasnt really a wish, but yes , it make my Christmas all the better. Hope yours was good also.
My wife was probably more pleased than me and make a comment of ''at least you'll be easier to get along with ""   very true
Our 7 year old daughter's wish came true of her grandparents bringing her a digital camera, that really made her day and ours, along with me leaving an empty bottle of beer next to her stuffed Santa stocking in her room, "cause Santa gets thirsty delivering all those presents". Classic

my wish did come true. i wished christmas would get over with for another year. now dont get me wrong, i dont hate christmas or anything. but this year, for some reason, i never got in the mood. and when you have to practically beg some of the grown people to go along with what the rest of the family is doing. and then do all the shopping for others cuz they cant seem to take a few minutes out of their very important days to do their own shopping. it spoils the mood. plus my vacation started after christmas. so yep, my wish came true.its over. :2thumbs:

Yes, mine did. I gave my family strict orders to not buy me anything. Buy for the kids. And they did as I asked.
All I wanted was for my girls to have a great Christmas and they did.

Life is good. :2thumbs:

I got some great stuff....a new Paasche Talon airbrush from my brother, a bunch of Lowe's Gift Cards from the parents, and the big surprise.....my uncle gave my brother and I each a Model 1873 Winchester lever action from my grandfather's gun collection. Needless to say we were floored. I had no idea any of these were still in the family. Most of them were sold by my grandfather to other collectors many years ago. We checked the serial numbers, mine was made in 1890 and my brother's in 1889.

Wow, That's pretty cool. I love old guns!  :yesnod:

I had the worse Christmas of my life...... I got ammo that I bought 2 years ago and don't work and I got told to get a job and pay 400 bucks rent or I'm homeless.... the whole family were fighting and literally beating each other up... I'm not upset on the gifts because Christmas isn't about getting cool stuff its having the family together and enjoy the holidays... I'm my case none of this happened.... looks like I'm going to be living in my charger for a while... :icon_smile_dissapprove: :'(  at least other people had a merry Christmas.........
I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, but I'm all out of bubble gum.

Let's just say this holiday season did not go anywhere close to what I expected. I got sent overseas before the holidays so I missed my daughter's first halloween, first thanksgiving, first christmas, new years, my wife's bday, valentines day, and I may be lucky enough to make it home for my daughter's first bday. But on the plus side I did buy myself my first charger. 1974. Now I can't wait to get home and fix it up. That is if someone would go to my other post and see if those replacement parts are what I really need to get her back on the road.

Yes mine came true. I was finally able to drive my charger for the first time since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. It is starting to pay off. Still haven't installed the hood yet but have cruised around in it. Very exciting

Yeah goes to show her that you're not just wasting money.......that in the long run all the money you're spending on the car accounts for something.
