New Headlights in and done.

I went about doing a HID conversion on my 70 Charger last night. It turned out really well!!! SO BRIGHT !!! I had a few issues but got it figured out with a file and some man hours!! I one of the pictures they look super-blue, but after a couple seconds they warmed up and turned to the ultra white light they are supposed to be! I think they look amazing. At any rate it fixed my lack of visibility for night driving!

They look great. What brand kit did you go with and what kind of fitting issues did you have?

I went with the same company that I did my daily drivers with (2010 Mazda 3 Hatch)  The company is ddm tuning. The hid kit was 50 bucks, lifetime warranty included on hid kits. Also got the glass bulb housing from them to take the new h4 bulb and a wiring kit to run to the battery so I have enough current at start to fire up the ballasts. I think all in all I'm 120 bucks into them including shipping. Only issues I had on the install was filing down the back of the bulbs, you can see in the pictures where I had to flatten out the bulb to fit. Other than that it was plug and play without the filing it would have taken 20 min. to put the whole setup in. All in all it took about an hour and a half to do the install and clean up the wiring. All you need is a screwdriver and double sided tape and a few zip ties.  The Hardest part was aiming the lights after they were in, i spent about an hour getting them set up because my old ones were apparently way out of line as well lol.....
