Buddy of mine Gary sent this to me.....

Beinekes at Bonneville w/G-Series K&K Daytona

Gary & Pam Beineke brought their 1971 #71 K&K Daytona to Bonneville on the 'to the day' 40th anniversary of the Bobby Isaac record setting runs with his 69 K&K Daytona. G&P both ran over 200mph- their first time on the salt

There's a twist about a firesuit... Know what it is?  :icon_smile_big:

2nd video
Pam's "tender moment" with K&K... She really likes it... ( wonder why?   :icon_smile_big: )

DJ,
per your request.... Gary sent me this....

Here's a link for dj on dc  He was looking for info on the car

Also, the rear gear is 2.76  soon to be changed to 2.94    Trans has a 1 to 1 for 4th and .9 OD for 5th...only used at Bonneville.  Tires are 28" tall Superspeedway radials (right side Talladega/Daytona Goodyears-actually tested by the Goodyear engineers for our project to see if it would handle a 4000lb car at sustained high speed)

Funny - I only counted 4 gears - I'll have to watch the video again. Darn!

My 72? if so: 383+.30 with Indy heads, 833 OD trans (1:1 3rd and .76:1 4th). Rear axle = 3.23. Good for about 170. Need to drop in 3.55 - 3.73 axle and get revs up to go faster.
