Whatever became of our ole friend here? I remember he was a bodyman/painter as well. He married? Emily from here also if I recall correctly yeares ago. One of my 69' chargers ended up where he used to live and was turned into a Dukes car clone, ugh, so be it now...just wondering if anyone has been in contact with him, he had great knowledge with autobody.
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Mark?  You're still hanging out here huh?  Good to see you, I thought most of the old crew was long gone.  Sorry to hear you lost one of yours to agent orange.   :D
Where'd it go?

How's life treating you?  Still up in the big cold?

I married Em 5 years ago and we're happy and living in SE Michigan.  I got out of the car biz oce I moved.  I got into healthcare and about 4 weeks ago passed my certification exam for orthotic fitter so I see patients in a clinic setting these days.  Alas I don't have the time or space to do any more major repairs so I bought a running 69 to enjoy.  But I do help out where I can even if it's just giving advice.  Feels strange to spend much time in the paint section though, it feels like it's a previous life sometimes.  I sure miss the old days though!

We're not all gone!  some of us still have no lives.

Hello old friend, good to hear from you! Yea, still in Alaska, married again, no mopars right now, still doing autobody/painting. Someday I will quit and either write a book or become a teacher, haha... I slide off heavy into Ford land, had a Ford GT, newer mustang,  pair of Lightnings and misc. F-150's and Bronco's. Glad your doing well, happy for you, nice charger you have also. I heard my white 69' charger went to the Netherlands somewhere. There is a member on here that knows more than I do about its story also. Catch up with you later, Mark  :2thumbs:

Haha I knew you guys would still be around.  Looks like there's tumble weeds going through the chat rooms these days.  For the better likely, I think we may have wasted too much time in there anyway.  How's life treating you guys?

Don't worry Mark, the Dutch know how to take care of a classic, orange or not, it's in good hands I'm sure.  And nothing wrong with going the Ford route either.

I guess you've been busy!   Congrats man.  :2thumbs:

That old, blue rustbucket is still roadworthy?  You must be keeping it within city limits.   :D
Are you still in the Dayton area?

In the garage most times. Took it out 6 times this year & the last time the front brake was sticking some.

I distance myself from Dayton....in Huber Heights now which is still too close to Deadton.

So you gave up shoveling bondo, I am not surprised as I figured Em would steer you into the medical field. That was a good thing I bet.

WTH

You going off to war or something?

We still have a core group that may not interact like in the "old" days, but this disfunctional family is still alive.

She sure did steer me away from the bondo pits into an arena that was alien to me.  It grew on me and I'm not looking back.  Nothing wrong with painting cars but this is a bit more satisfying.  She saved my butt man, every neon white part of it.

TMI on your butt

Well now you are making $$$ compared to before  :shruggy:& you do not need to buy a fixer upper, unless you want to.

Glad things going well with you two because as you know she has a .45 & isn't afraid to use it.
