  he was very sick during the filming or this movie  , still did a great job    :2thumbs:

I remember seeing it in the theater with my Father who's a big Steve McQueen fan.

At first I couldn't tell if this was a 3rd generation Charger, or a Gran Torino, but when Steve drives into it, it's obviously a Ford.

I think he was diagnosed with lung cancer right after filming the movie.

Read that there were some signs during the filming. There was a scene where he chased someone around the corner and the director yelled cut and Steve didn't come back from around the corner. They went to see what happened and he was leaning against a wall desperately trying to catch his breath.  :rotz:
