Dish Network Dropped Velocity Channel!!! Aaagghhh!

I just found out that my carrier (Dish Network) dropped (among others) Velocity, my favorite channel!!!  And they have no info as to why or when/if it will return. Anybody else here have Dish and watch Velocity??

Months ago my Dish dropped Velocity, and then one day I found it by accident as channel 5710. It's called the "TEST" channel, nothing is listed as being broadcast, just says TEST, but there Velocity resides.

I have no explanation and don't care to call Dish and talk to Peggy. Check out 5710.

Hmmm. I don't get 5710. I just got off the phone with them and first they said that it was only available now with their Blockbuster movie package for an extra $10/month, then they said it's not available at all, now they're saying it's available with the movie pass. They don't seem to know what's going on. They offered the movie pass to me free for 12 months, but I have to go online and sign up but I have to wait 24 hours. I've had Dish for a long time and this is the first time I've encountered this type of chaos & confusion

I have DirecTV...no problems (except pricey)   

I've always thought of The Dish network as the minor leagues when compared to DirecTV. I hope you get that issue resolved soon.

I've never even heard of the "Velocity" Chanel...

Hmmm. I don't get 5710.

I don't get 5710 either. I have the basic 150 package, and that means that there are about 800 channels I don't get.

But when I type in the numbers 5-7-1-0, my screen says "TEST" and then Velocity shows up. Give it a try.

It used to be called HD Theater. They just recently re-named it.

I just called the wife and had her check. We get it on CH 364. She said Wheeler Dealers was on.

I watch that channel all the time.
