Has anyone had Turducken? Is it hard to prepare? Is it as good as the TV cooking shows make them out to be? I am considering making one for christmas so I am looking for feedback from people who have actual made and eaten one.

Its definitely more work to prepare. I have had one, but didn't eat the duck part. :eek2: Go to foodnetwork.com for instructions/tips!  :2thumbs: Take a pic and post it if you make one!

Isn't Turducken what you do in front of the gorilla cage at the zoo when they start tossing it?   :shruggy:

I made this years ago, from Chef Paul Prudhomme's Family recipe cookbook-it was outstanding! Notwithstanding my kitchen inexperience, it's pretty hard to screw up however like all great recipes, it takes a lot of time and preparation. In the end well worth the effort.
