If you can buy either of these which one would it be and what would you pay for them. New gears and axles. It's for a street car, no racing. But the car will eventually get a manual trans.

Quick Performance axles 30 spline, 3.73 Spicer Detroit locker.

Or 3.73 Detroit locker with 35 spline axles

I got mine from Dr Diff, Strange S60, s track carrier, has the heilical gears in the unit, works great for street & strip 35 sp axles, the large ford syle axle bearing ends

I got the exact same setup. I would go with the 35 spline axles, it seems to me to be more common, if you ever decide to change ratios or differentials

That seems to be in the ballpark of what I paid 10 or so years ago.  I got mine through Doctor Diff also

I paid about that much some years ago, I would say 2500 is a good price
