Picked this up today. Probably just clean it up , put some dog dish caps on it an drive as is. Runs and drives good, was a daily driver. Poly 318, nice dual exhaust with flowmasters and a descent interior. Has a little rust in the quarters from spending time in Minnesota.To bad they cut a huge hole in the hood for the scoop. I guess that 318 needed all the air they could give it!   Certi card still there and says Robert Blanche south 2nd st. Mankota MN.

had one in high school. red 383 bench seat four speed. beat a 72 gto with it two out of two. shifter sucked though. i liked driving it. i think you'll enjoy yours.

Love to see fairly rust free C-bodies. My brother had a 1968 2dr sedan. 413/4-speed. Was a 318/ 3 on da tree. I loved that car, but he stripped it out and crushed it cause nobody would buy it.

I didn't have the coin at the time, but woulda loved to had that thing. Just a beast of a car and straight gear too boot. Had all the hard to find pieces on it too. Yeah, too bad these cars haven't caught on yet, as I see a 440 and 4-speed, with some Chrome reverse wheels.
Painted Jet black. Sleeper from hell and ride good too boot.

Picked it up for $1500. Drove it to the local Saturday night cruise and people enjoyed seeing it.

Cool find. 

Many years ago I had a '66 Sport Fury with a 383-2V, buckets, console & fender skirts. It was a nice highway car in pretty good shape that I got for $150. Drove it for about 8 or 9 months, then sold it for $750 without doing anything but cleaning it up & removing the fog lights that were in the back window.    They were wired to the reverse lights in, what I guess, was an attempt to help with visibility. All they did was reflect a ton of light off the rear window & blind you making it worse.

Went and got an estimate today on painting it. Probably going to do the original green with a black hood and black roof. Not to many colors to choose from when it has a green interior.    I will post some pics of the progress.  Going to part with the Rosco police car and maybe the 68 Chevy van to fix this one up.

Been doing a little work on the Fury. Borrowed some dog dish hub caps from a friend until the ones I bought show up. Got a set of RWL tires and tuned it up and it runs and drives great. Next week of to the body shop to get painted to its original green and a black vinyl top, black hood and scoop.

That looks pretty damn good & I'm not usually a big fan of the dog dish & steely look either.... Always liked the Ralleys, 68 Road Wheels, Magnum 500's, Halibrands, Polished Slots or Crager S/S's on my Mopars

Finally brought the Fury home today from the paint shop. Had a change of plans and went with something a little different and possibly a little Crazy  . The color is a kinda toned down Sublime green.
Now off to get a vinyl top and a new headliner.

WOW love it, with the scoop especially.  How much work did the car need, body wise?  How much did all of the bodywork end up costing you?

He had to patch both rear lower quarters and front of the both quarters some rear quarter wheel lip and a few small dents. He also molded the hood scoop to the hood. Total cost $1200.00. He has never charged me more than $1800 for any of my cars, are they perfect show quality no but they are nice drivers. He gives me a pretty good deal but he has painted several cars for me and I send a lot of work his way.
