Is there any other difference besides the door lock knob? Any reason I cant change the linkage and drill a new hole?
Thanks

Ghoste

That is the only difference I am aware of and as far as I know, there would be no issues with just redrilling and changing linkage.  I did have a 69 once that had a 68 door on one side so they are definitely interchangeable.

the 69 I am working on now has one of each door on it.I thought that was the only diff. but wanted to make sure. All I have done has been 69's.

Which side? I have a driver's side door from a 69 and need a 68.

I converted a 68 door lock into a 69, just drill the hole and change the linkage from a 69 door.

Good info. I thought they were all the same. 68-70..However, I never lock my doors anyway.
